Martha and Mary Ministry is currently only available at St. Francis de Sales. Volunteers are needed for St. John's location.

St. Francis de Sales Martha & Mary Ministry offers our parish’s warmth and compassion to those families who are experiencing the loss of a loved one following a funeral Mass or Memorial Service. We do this by offering comfort through food and personal contact in our parish hall. Our parishioners give of their time and talent in many different ways: setting up our facilities, making a side dish or serving refreshments to the grieving families. While the “Martha’s” contribute with these tasks, the “Mary’s” provide continuous prayer support for the families.

This outreach to our community helps brings comfort and peace to others through prayer and thoughtful action. Add your name to the sign-up sheet on the church bulletin if interested in participating in this ministry. Or call Marge Tiso (845) 688-5898.
